The Bird’s Nest Stadium, also known as National Stadium is incomparable. Standing next to it is like David and Goiiath. I would say that it represents China today as the Great Wall represents ancient China. Even walking around it , it’s just amazing at how it’s built.
On the way to Track and Field with Executive Producer of the OLYMPIC ZONE : Colin Macaulay.
Inside the Bird’s Nest. 91-thousand seating capacity . The site for Track and Field.
This is where Bernard Lagat and Lopez Lomong and Tyson Gay ran their races.
And the concession stands look familiar. Tsingtao beer 5 YUAN…..that translates to 80 cents a cup!!!! Cheers!
Surprise Siting: MICHELLE KWAN!!!!!!!

You’re shopping at local Chinese markets, but are there any large consumer-type stores like Wal-Mart or Target where the average citizen could buy American products? What are they allowed to buy? Beer? Wine? Books? Donuts?
Thanks for the great pic of Michelle Kwan? What did she have to say?
Michelle was great. She is here for the duration of the Olympic Games and is among seven members of the presidential delegation to the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. When I saw her she was with her Mom and sister. She was really nice.
